According to archaeological findings, pottery has been produced in Kampong Chnang province for approximately 7,000 years. Until 20 years ago, pottery wheels, kilns, and modern glazes were unknown. The Cambodian Craft Cooperation (CCC) has played a crucial role in introducing modern production methods.
The two ceramic centers established by the CCC in 2001-2002 are located in Andoung Rossey village and Vat Chhkol (Banh Chhkol village), just a few kilometers from the provincial capital. The videos showcase a wide range of products that can be ordered directly from the producers.
